Despite some recent financial troubles, Preston's Strawberry Park is still up and running. This is terrific news heading into summer for a lot of reasons, but their annual Bluegrass Festival, starting tonight and running through Sunday, is chief among them.

Almost 20 national bluegrass acts will be on hand, including Dry Branch Fire Squad, the Gibson Brothers, the Boxcars and Grascals, and there are workshops, dancing, and food as part of the fun. Go to strawberrypark.net for a schedule of bands.
