Serving dining deals for restaurant week

Connecticut Restaurant Week runs from Oct. 8-14, and several local eatieries are offering special $20.12 deals.

Participating restaurants include 23 Sports Cafe, Michael Jordan's Steak House and SolToro Tequila Grill at Mohegan Sun, as well as Aspen Restaurant & Bar in Old Saybrook, the Capt. Daniel Packer Inn and Cove Clam Shack & Cafe in Mystic and Boom Restaurant in Westbrook.

Sponsored by the Connecticut Restaurant Association, Sysco Connecticut and American Express, the fifth annual event offers an array of choices, including three-course prix-fixe meals and two-for-one specials.
