It’s Fall Festival Tyme at Blue Slope Farm

Blue Slope Country Museum in Franklin presents its annual Fall Festival Tyme on Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 13 and 14.

Among the weekend's activities will be live folk music, horse-drawn wagon rides, a pie-eating contest, cow-milking and butter-churning demonstrations, and the chance to visit with the resident draft horses, working steer and donkeys.

Blue Slope Country Museum is a fourth-generation family working dairy farm on the site of Blue Slope Farm, supplier of milk and free-range meat to Connecticut grocers and eateries.

Fall Festival Tyme will be open, rain or shine, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for children and parking is free. Blue Slope Country Museum is at 138 Blue Hill Road, Franklin. For more information, visit www.blueslope.com.
