Millstone Power Station owner Dominion will be one of five honorees at Operation Fuel's 35th anniversary reception Oct. 19 at the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford.
Dominion is being recognized for its support of Operation Fuel over the years. Tickets for the event are $75 and can be purchased at www.operationfuel.org. Dominion, Northeast Utilities, HSB Group, NBC Connecticut, and Clear Channel Communications are major sponsors.
Operation Fuel is a private, nonprofit program that has provided emergency energy assistance throughout Connecticut for the past 35 years to lower-income working families, the elderly and disabled individuals.
