Peter Gabriel revives "So" at Mohegan Sun

Peter Gabriel hits the Mohegan Sun Arena Saturday on the "Back to Front" tour, celebrating his greatest album: "The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway."

Oh, wait.

"The Lamb" is actually the best album by Genesis (though, by extension, that can at least tangentially apply to Big Pete, as well).

No, this is a 25th anniversary junket for Gabriel's "So" record - and, by God, it's a wonderful work, too. The hits alone include "Red Rain," "Sledgehammer," "Big Time" and "In Your Eyes" - and there isn't an ounce of filler on the entire album. It's worth noting, too, that Gabriel has reassembled most of the incredible musicians from the original "So" tour - and who knows what additional tunes might pop out? Maybe even "Solsbury Hill" or "It."
