89.3 The Current

NPR Music has received a lot of attention for the musical performance series Tiny Desk Concert. But there's another public radio outlet producing an online video series that's also a must see. The live performance archive from Minnesota Public Radio's 89.3 The Current features inventive versions of songs by acts ranging from Bon Iver to Soul Asylum. Two personal favorites are Yeasayer's performance of "Tightrope" and Moby's haunting acoustic rendition of "Pale Horses." Look for the videos on YouTube and The Current's website: http://minnesota.publicradio.org/radio/services/the_current/
