On Nov. 9, Chester Elementary School's 6th grade teachers and students brought the entire school community together to celebrate a remarkable Veterans Day program. The program taught all in attendance about the significance of Veterans Day. Students recognized and honored the service of all veterans.
Principal Michael Barile said, "We were fortunate to have more than 30 veterans attend, many whom are personally connected to the Chester School community. I am proud of our 6th grade students and honored to work with the teachers who made this program a success. Many veterans commented about how touched they were by the thoughtful program presented."
