Good résumés make good job candidates, a consideration that the state Department of Labor emphasized in encouraging those attending the Middlesex County Career Fair Nov. 26 to first get help building their resumes.
The department suggests jobseekers visit www.CT.jobs, the state job bank, to build an online résumé that can be searched by hiring employers. They can also visit their local CTWorks Career Centers - the closest of which are in New London, Norwich and Willimantic - for free assistance.
The Middlesex event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza in Cromwell. For info, go to www.ct.gov/dol.
