WOODBRIDGE, Conn. (AP) — Police say two high school students in Woodbridge have been arrested on drug charges after a teenager ate a marijuana-laced peanut butter cracker and fell unconscious.
Sgt. Frank Cappiello says officers responded to a report of an unresponsive student in the Amity Regional High School cafeteria on Nov. 7 and found he had eaten marijuana mixed with peanut butter on a cracker.
Authorities say the student who was found unconscious had apparently bought the cracker from another student and was in possession of several others. Police say the student was charged with possession of marijuana and possession with intent to sell after receiving treatment at a hospital.
Another student was arrested and charged with sale of marijuana.
