Sen.-elect Murphy at Chamber event

Sen.-elect Christopher Murphy will address a special breakfast program of the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut starting at 7:45 a.m. Dec. 11 at the Holiday Inn in Norwich that will introduce the three-term U.S. representative to the local business community.

Murphy, D-5th District, serves on the House Foreign Affairs and Oversight and Government Reform committees. He will begin his first term in the U.S. Senate next year, succeeding Joe Lieberman, after beating Linda McMahon in November's elections.
