Random kindness act proves contagious

Last week my 10-year-old daughter was shopping with her grandparents at Walmart in Groton. She picked out a very special Christmas gift for me and counted out her money to the cashier. After she checked out, a man in line handed her $10 to share with her little brother.

She could not believe that a stranger would do something so nice for her. This was a great thing that he did. He showed my children that joy comes from a stranger's kindness and the true magic of the holiday season. The kids decided to pay it forward by surprising others with random acts of kindness this weekend.
