East Haven Police detectives today (Dec. 5) announced the arrest of Johnny McRae, 48, as a suspect in a robbery of the Wells Fargo Bank, 339 Hemingway Avenue, East Haven, on Nov. 28. McRae, arrested on Dec. 2, was charged with robbery in the first degree, conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree, larceny in the first degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.
McRae was held on a $1 million bond and was arraigned on Dec. 3. According to police, the investigation is ongoing. Individuals with information regarding the robbery are asked to call the East Haven Police Department at 203-468-3820.
