Police: Taftville woman stabs two men following altercation

Norwich – Police say a 20-year-old Taftville woman stabbed two men early Friday morning following a confrontation at a local bar.

After the 1 a.m. confrontation, Christina Santana, of 67 School St., was charged with two counts of second-degree assault.

Police said Santana stabbed the two men with an unidentified sharp weapon outside the Old Mill Tavern after an altercation that began inside the bar. Police and emergency personnel responded to the 685 N. Main St. establishment and treated the two men at the scene for minor stab wounds.

Police said no further arrests are expected. Santana was held in lieu of a $100,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court today.
