Electric Boat to sound shipyard horn for Newtown victims

Groton — Electric Boat will sound its shipyard horn 26 times at 9:30 a.m. Friday in remembrance of the victims in Newtown.

Shipyard workers have also been asked to observe a moment of silence.

Friday is the one-week anniversary of the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. The gunman killed 27 people before killing himself.
