The Estuary Council of Seniors, 220 Main St., Old Saybrook, seeks artists and creative people to turn wooden pieces of furniture into art for its second annual painted chair auction, The Second Seating, on Saturday, April 27. Furniture is provided or artists can use unique pieces. The finished furniture is auctioned off to benefit the Estuary's Meals on Wheels program. Artists receive credit and exposure.

For more information, to participate, or to donate a small, sturdy piece of furniture, call Rhonda at (860) 876-7340.
