Go for the gala

Noank Group Homes and Support Services invites the public to attend its second annual Roots and Wings Gala and Auction on Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Mystic Arts Center in Mystic. The event was postponed from its original date in November because of superstorm Sandy.

The gala, which begins at 6:30 p.m., will feature live music by Rock & Soul Revue, hors d'oeuvres by Go Fish and Steak Loft, cocktails from Cask 'n' Keg and live and silent auctions.

Tickets are $40 each or $75 per couple. Cocktail attire is suggested. For tickets and information, call (860) 333-1623 or visit www.noankgh.org.
