The art-glass gallery of Jeffrey P'an at 44 W. Main St. in Mystic has closed, but another location, a working space known as Prescient Studios at 44 Meadow Ave. in Stonington, remains open.
P'an said the closure was mostly due to "the construction impact on tourism" related to downtown Mystic's streetscape and related projects. He had maintained the Mystic location, known as Studio Jeffrey P'an, for three and a half years.
P'an specializes in the design and production of distinctive, contemporary glass objects. His work is featured in many galleries and museums around the world.
