Occhiogrosso rejoins global strategy firm

Roy Occhiogrosso, who for the past two years was an adviser to Gov. Dannel P. Malloy, will rejoin Global Strategy Group as managing director in the Hartford office.

Occhiogrosso was formerly a partner with GSG from 2003 to 2010, where he helped grow the firm's practice areas in public affairs, strategic communications, media relations, political strategy and public policy for a broad array of political, corporate and advocacy clients. Earlier in his career, he served as a communications and political strategist for numerous candidates for public office at the local, state and national levels.

Occhiogrosso will be based in GSG's Hartford office beginning Jan. 14.
