Credit union donates clothes to homeles

Scient Federal Credit Union has donated 50 pieces of winter wear to the New London Homeless Hospitality Center. The credit union, located at 60 Colver Ave., Groton, displayed a "Tree of Warmth" in their service center throughout of December. Credit union members and members of the community came helped Scient decorate the tree with 16 winter coats, six hats, 14 pairs of gloves, and 14 scarves. On Jan. 7, Scient delivered the donations to the New London Homeless Hospitality Center.

The New London Homeless Hospitality Center is at 19 Jay St.
