Chocolate to the rescue!

Columbus House of Middletown will host the 11th annual Chocolate to the Rescue event on Sunday, Jan. 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Water's Edge Resort and Spa, 1525 Boston Post Road, Westbrook. Guests will enjoy chocolate creations and vote for their favorites. Participating restaurants include J.A.M.S.S. of Old Saybrook, Bushmill by the Waterfall of Chester, and Truffle Shots of Essex among others.

Tickets are $30 in advance, with a limited number available at the door for $35. All proceeds benefit the Middlesex Family Shelter.
