Mr. and Mrs. Ronald J. Baude of Waterford are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Chelsey Mei Baude to Bradley Joseph Roberts, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Roberts of Lisbon. Chelsey is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carlo Mei Jr. of Waterford and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Baude of New London. Bradley is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Swaenepoel of Norwich.

Chelsey is a 2007 graduate of Waterford High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Central Connecticut State University in 2011 and is currently pursuing her master's degree in special education at the University of Saint Joseph. She is a special education paraprofessional and choice tutor for the Wethersfield Public School District.

Bradley is a 2006 graduate of Norwich Free Academy. He is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He served in Iraq from 2008 to 2009. He is currently pursuing his associate's degree in accounting at Three Rivers Community College. He is a performance instructor at the Lowe's Distribution Center in Plainfield.

A June 2014 wedding is planned.
