Free children’s admission to Seaport

Mystic Seaport celebrates its reopening with "Winter's Aweigh," nine days of special activities beginning Saturday, Feb. 16. Children age 17 and younger will be admitted for free when accompanied by a paying adult during this period.

Special events include return visits by the New England Newfoundland Dog Club on Saturday, Feb. 16, and a group of malamutes Sunday, Feb. 17. The dogs will demonstrate various winter work tasks and be available to meet guests from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The free children's admission offer at Mystic Seaport is not transferable. No other discounts apply.

After "Winter's Aweigh," the museum will be open Thursday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., until March 30, when it resumes daily operations. For more information on hours and ticketing, visit www.mysticseaport.org/visit.
