“The Music and History of the 19th Century Banjo” by Ed Meincke.

Thursday   TIME:  6:30 pm to 8:00 pm

6:30-7:30 p.m., Meincke will highlight important facts and details about the banjo and will encourage audience participation as he discusses the importance of drumming and singing in the development of the instrument. A short segment from a documentary film will also be included; (860) 537-5752.
