Classical NightOut Concert with The Haven String Quartet

The Haven String Quartet (the permanent quartet-in-residence of Music Haven) performs a program of electrifying music from around the world featuring works by Peruvian composer Gabriela Lena Frank, Cuban American jazz legend Paquito D’Rivera and Iranian born Reza Vali. Quartet members have appeared at illustrious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, and have graduated from renowned schools including Yale, Juilliard and the New England Conservatory. In addition to their professional touring, the musi¬cians are teaching artists who provide access to free music edu¬cation and world-class chamber music performances to residents in New Haven’s most underserved neighborhoods. PLUS! A Family Workshop with musicians 4:30-5:30pm at the Church. $5 per family.
