Poetry Reading – “Garnet Poems: An Anthology of Connecticut Poetry Since 1776

The Connecticut College Department of Literatures in English presents a poetry reading and discussion of the recently published book, which features forty-two poets, including Charles Hartman, Connecticut College Professor of English and Poet in Residence, and the work of notable poets including Wallace Stevens, Lydia Sigourney, Mark Van Doren, Richard Wilbur, Susan Howe, and Elizabeth Alexander. Reading poems and discussing their work will be Professor Charles Hartman, Dennis Barone and Sophie Cabot Black.
