A hike with Beverly Chomiak, Senior Lecturer in Geophysics and Environmental Studies, $11 for Arboretum members; $13 for general public, registration required. On this two hour hike, Beverly Chomiak will help you understand Mamacoke Island’s long and complex geological history, involves vigorous walking, 9 a.m. Meet just before railroad tracks on Benham Avenue, call 860-439-5060 to register.
