Reception Planned For Photographer Eleanor Phillips
TIME: 11:00 am
to 4:00 pm
The Antique Center at The Shops At Marlborough Barn is holding a reception to honor New England Photographer, Eleanor Phillips on Sunday, November 4, from 1-4 PM. Eleanor is a native New Englander. Raised just outside of Boston, Massachusetts, Eleanor has lived in Connecticut for over 30 years. Her lifelong appreciation for the wonders of Nature, introduced her to photography.
Eleanor has a natural talent for composing photographs and making you feel a part of each image. She finds beauty in the places and things around her, places that you might recognize from your own travels or even in your own back yard. Her images include florals, birds, scenery and sunsets.
Over the past several years, Eleanor has started to share the beauty of the images she captures by showing and selling her photography and photo cards. Her work is in several galleries and can be seen locally at the Shops At Marlborough Barn.
Meet and speak with Eleanor and view her photography at her reception on Sunday, November 4, from 1-4 PM at The Shops At Marlborough Barn, 45 West Main Street, Marlborough. Light refreshments will be served.
A series of Receptions for local artists is being presented at the Shops At The Barn weekends in November and December. On November 17, meet William Muttart, author, from Montville. Muttart will be selling, signing and speaking about his recent book, One Hundred Eleven Questions And Answers Concerning The Pilgrims. Meet William and learn some fascinating facts about the Mayflower that you can share at your Thanksgiving table this year.
