Eastern Connecticut Ballet’s Nutcracker — 1:30 and 7 p.m., Garde Arts Center, 325 State St., New London; Teresa Reichlen, New York City Ballet Principal Dancer will light up the stage as the Sugar Plum Fairy and will be joined by 110 professionally trained Eastern Connecticut Ballet dancers and the live music of Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra; also 1:30 p.m. Sun.; (860) 444-7373.
