Beer’d Brewing Company and the CT Beer Trail are teaming up to celebrate CT Beer Week with a night of craft beer, gourmet food, and good company at Beer‘d Bewery located in the American Velvet Mill in Stonington, CT.

The event features a three course meal by Chef Greg Alessi, paired with three hand crafted beers from Beer'd Brewing (Wit, Black IPA, and American Pale Ale *NEW). The meal will be followed by a social hour with more beer (or coffee if you prefer), deserts by Zest Fresh Pastry and live music from Ben Friert.

The Lyme Public Library’s annual book sale will take place at the Library Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18. Sale hours are: Friday, May 17, 4-7 P.M. and Saturday, May 18, 10 A.M. – 6. P.M. From 4-6 P.M. on Saturday, books will be $5 per bag. Standard sized bags will be provided for the $5 per bag promotion. There will be a large selection of hardcover books, paperbacks, children’s books, audio books, music cds, videos and DVDs. Items will be double priced on Friday. Because of the sale, the library will close at 1:00 on Friday, May 17. The library will be open regular hours on Saturday, May 18 during the sale.
Donations for the sale are still being accepted and can be dropped off at the Library during regular library hours.
