Harpeth Rising Concert and Workshop

Music
Harpeth Rising Concert and Workshop; North Madison Congregational Church, 1271 Durham Rd, Madison, , 06443

Take three graduates of various super-prestigious conservatories, and after teaching careers, turn them lose. What do they do but go to the dark side of new-wave/alt-old-time. Their parents might be disappointed, but we're thrilled, as they might be the most exciting young band since Crooked Still. Forget their ridiculous technique; it's the musicality, the soulfulness, the singing, the songs, that make them stand head and shoulders above the new alternative stringband crowd. Ashley's Ice cream after the show, as always, and a free workshop at 3 with these amazing teachers. String students and teachers take notice! We're excited, you should be too. Guaranteed smile-inducing music.
