USS Pittsburgh, a Los Angeles-class attack submarine, returns to the Naval Submarine Base in Groton Wednesday, June 27, 2012 after a six-month deployment. During the deployment the Pittsburgh conducted maritime security and theater security cooperation efforts in the Fifth and Sixth Fleet area of operations.
