Essex Garden Club Holds May Market

On May 13, the Essex Garden Club held its May Market in the Town Park on Main Street. Despite forecasts of heavy rain (and the occasional appearance of modest drizzle), the event drew lots of gardeners to the village.

For over 15 years a group of garden club members have grown over 700 tomato plants and 200 pepper plants form seed to sell at the May market.
