New London Police traffic stops database

About this project: The Day created a database from the information on almost 7,600 "yellow cards" filled out by New London Police Department officers when they made traffic stops in 2011. These cards contain 15 pieces of information, including the driverís age, race and gender, as well as whether the stop resulted in a search, ticket or arrest.

Visible Government Online, a company that analyzes public data, created a searchable database with the information gathered by The Day. That database is available below.
