The Shoreline Greenway Trail will span 3½ miles through East Haven; once completed, the 25-mile trail will connect Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven with Hammonasset State Park in Madison.

The engineering firm hired to design the trails is holding a series of meetings in East Haven over the next few months to discuss proposed routes and preliminary routes.
