While the region escaped a major snow storm that dumped up to 3 feet of snow in the mid-Atlantic region over the weekend, we won't be so lucky this week.
According to the National Weather Service, snow will be reaching Connecticut Tuesday night and remaining with us for most of Wednesday.
The storm will be an "all-day event," the weather service said.
While no watches have been issued yet, the storm is expected to produce more than 6 inches of snow.
The Day hosted a web chat with New London Mayor Daryl J. Finizio to discuss the beginning of his new administration and news out of the city's police department.
