Pennsylvania gaming regulators have denied the Foxwoods Philadelphia Casino partners' request for more time to defend their license to build a casino in Philadelphia.
The casino group, known as Philadelphia Entertainment and Development Partners, which includes the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe, had asked for an additional 30 days to respond to a complaint calling for the revocation of the license. The complaint was filed April 29 by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board's Bureau of Investigations and Enforcement.
The board voted this week to deny the request, meaning the partners must respond to the complaint by June 1.
