Lace up your walking shoes for the Shoreline Greenway Trail's First Saturday Walk this Saturday, Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. at the Branford Tabor Property.

Branford Town Co-Chair Chet Blomquist will lead a walk through town property that will eventually connect finished trail to the Branford Green.

The path is mostly flat and will give views of Branford treetops and Long Island Sound. Walkers may choose either a 1½ mile or 2½-mile loop (1-1/2 – 2 hours, depending on the loop). Because the trail is rough, it is not suitable for strollers. All are welcome, rain or shine. Bring bug spray just in case!

DIRECTIONS: From the Branford Green, travel south on Route 146. After crossing the Branford River, take an immediate left onto Tabor Drive. Park at the Tabor Lutheran Church parking lot.
