Giffey added to roster

Freshman Niels Giffey is finally on campus. And he's been added to the UConn basketball roster.

A 6-foot-7 swingman from Berlin, Giffey is one of two incoming recruits from Germany.

Giffey's addition is good news for the Huskies who announced Wednesday that Ater Majok withdrew from school.

Now the Huskies are hoping that German center Enosch Wolf will follow Giffey to Storrs. Wolf is still trying to secure a visa.

UConn is optimistic that Wolf will join the men's basketball program this season.
