I get bombarded with
e-mails from Linda McMahan's campaign looking for support, but when I respond to them asking for her position on issues I get nothing in return. I have returned no less than five e-mails to her campaign, beginning with the primary requesting her position paper on veterans' issues. To date I have received no response.
I am not voting for Richard Blumenthal as he has been involved with issues that have struck at and hurt veterans.
To get back to my issue, having worked campaigns before I know the candidate isn't always aware of the matters of the campaign; mostly it falls on the staff to inform that person of what is going on in the field. Ultimately it does fall on the candidate to instruct the staff to keep her abreast of the voters.
I ask again for Ms. McMahon to respond. When I vote I don't vote for either candidate if I feel neither is worthy. I leave that vote uncast.
If I have this much trouble getting a response from Ms. McMahon as a candidate, what assures me she will be more diligent as a senator?
