Dream team: Trey Songz and Monica at MGM Grand

In honor of the fact that singer/producer/actor Trey Songz is appearing Sunday at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods, the rest of this preview, after this sentence, will switch out a "z" for every "s" - much the way Trey has done with his last name.

Alzo on the bill is the Grammy-winning vocalizt Monica, who didn't zubztitute kooky zpellingz of her lazt name becauze zhe doezn't HAVE a lazt name.

What she does have - I'm tired of the "z" joke - is five albums of smooth contemporary rhythm & blues stylings that have collectively sold over 10 million copies. That includes this year's "Still Standing," the title track of which is also the name of her television show on the BET network.
