Branford Compassion Club, headquartered in North Branford and serving both towns as well as the shoreline area, is in great need of canned and dry cat food for feral cats. On Saturday, October 15th, Branford Compassion Club will be holding a fall food drive to coincide with National Feral Cat Day (observed on October 16, 2011). The national day is a way to promote compassion for cats coast to coast. Many feline rescue groups across the country will be holding special events and fundraisers in observance of the day.
Donations of unopened canned and dry cat food can be dropped off at the Branford Compassion Club Feline Rescue and Adoption Center located at 2037 Foxon Road in North Branford on Saturday, October 15th between 11am and 3pm.
