When that which is god — or that which is that which man wants to call “God” — is being understood by man, man has to translate it into the format he understands. But this Energy, this Source that man is giving the label of “God”, cannot be quantified in anything that man understands. And as man attempts to do it, the distortions are enormous.

God cannot be explained.

God cannot be described

God IS.

God is What?

That’s when we get in trouble.

No God IS.

That’s why I find it so disconcerting when a religious group, a religious organization, a church attempts to fit God in a Box, telling someone:

Okay you MUST follow my way if you want to reach paradise.

I can hear it now. Some will say this is sacrilegious, some will say I don’t believe hence I won’t be seeing God, I won’t feel his warm embrace.

How does man know what is in God’s heart?

How does man know what God believes?

Man speaks out of both sides of his mouth. On the one hand, he says God is Love. On the other hand man says, God will forsake you. Okay which is it? You can’t have it both ways. Is God Love? Does God love us all?

Or is God full of vengeance? Does God REALLY condemn those he created? If He created us in his image is he condemning himself? Because that’s what man is saying?

God punishes us

God created us in his image

So God is punishing himself.

It sounds kind of silly when we see it written down doesn’t it?

Religion Vs. Spirituality:

This is a common thread to my blog.

Being Spiritual encompasses empathy, loving all, accepting everyone. This is what Religion SHOULD be preaching.

It is NOT what Religion is preaching.

God IS Love.

God does NOT punish.

God cannot be quantified.

God cannot be put in a box.

The sooner we realize this the sooner we can move toward the next evolutionary step. Where do YOU think that step will take us?
