Jennifer Lynn Stula, a daughter of Richard W. Stula, Sr. and Kathleen Connelly Stula of Colchester, was married in Connecticut on Sept. 4 to Christopher Edward Rivera, the son of Angel C. Rivera of Nyack, N.Y. and Denise Rivera Conte of Huntington, Long Island.
The Reverend Linda Barnes performed the ceremony at the Colchester Federated Church in Colchester surrounded by the couple's friends, family (including grandfather John Connelly, Sr.) and their supportive wedding party, matron of honor, Kristin Whittaker with bridesmaids, Virginia Brown, Lisa D'Ascanio, Giustina Jurewicz, Katherine Kuhns, Carrie Stula, ushers Jeffrey, Ryan, Kevin and Tyler Doherty, best man, Nicholas Lee with groomsmen Keith D'Andrade, Adam Davis, James Pearson, Robert Palenski, Richard Stula, Jr., flower girls Alexis Archambault and Kaylie Couch with ring bearer Finley Dall.
Mrs. Stula-Rivera, 31, is the global manager of volunteer programs/employee engagement for The Moody's Foundation in New York City. She graduated from Central Connecticut State University and received her master's degree magna cum lad in education from Manhattan College. She is also a member of Kappa Delta Pi the international honor society for academics, leadership and service.
Mr. Rivera, 33, is an assistant vice president for SwissRe, in New York City. He graduated from Florida International University and received his master's degree in accounting from University of Hartford.
