Colleen Cossette, 64, Branford

Colleen Cossette, 64, wife of Robert G. Cossette of Branford, died in New Haven on Jan. 7.  She was born in Rhodesia on June 14, 1947, daughter of the late Jack and Eunice van-der-Westzuin Brook. She had lived in South Africa for many years until moving to the United States. Colleen had formerly worked at Wal-Mart in Branford.
 
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Michael Cossette of South Africa; a stepson, Erik Cossette of Branford; a sister, Rose Margach of England; a niece, Tracy Abeshouse of Branford; and two grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may attend a memorial service on Friday, Jan. 13, at 4 p.m., at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford.  For directions and online memorial see www.wsclancy.com.
