Branford Police Incident Report for Jan. 8 and 9

The Sound publishes a Police Incident Report to inform residents of incidents, criminal activities, and police responses occurring in Branford and North Branford. As those charged are presumed innocent until proven guilty, the report does not include names. It may be edited for space and content.

Sunday, Jan. 8

• A 24 year-old East Haven man was arrested at 2:09 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to drive in the proper lane of a multiple lane highway, and failure to have headlamps lit.

Monday, Jan. 9

• A 44 year-old man of Hamre Lane was arrested at 10:42 p.m. and charged with breach of peace.
