Branford Hornets’ Wrestling Joins Together for Those in Need

The month of January has seen athletes on the Branford wrestling team join together to seek donations of clothing, linens, curtains, and shoes from people in the community that were distributed to various agencies and then given to those in need. The final day of collection was Saturday, Jan. 14 at Branford High School when the Hornets hosted a five-team meet, after which the team's athletes gathered at the town's police department to fill a 24-foot box with the donations. The Hornets wish to thank everyone who supported to this cause and donated, along with the Branford Police Department for its assistance.
