Renewable Energy at Branford Transfer Station

The Branford Recycling Center on Route 1 is the site of the town's most recent solar installation. The free system was installed by BeFree Solar and paid for through the from the Connecticut Clean Energy Fund. The system was earned by the town's Clean Energy Task Force effort to get residents to sign up for clean energy suppliers. For more information on the program, visit www.ctcleanenergy.com.
