Norwich police block off Yantic street as 'crime scene'; neighbor reports fight, gunshot
Norwich – Police are investigating an incident at 85 Oneco St., where one officer said “the whole street is a crime scene.”
Multiple police officers are on the scene and both ends of the Yantic street are blocked off by police trucks, including one that resembles a large recreational vehicle with "Cyber Crime Unit" written on the side.
Police have yet to comment on the incident. A neighbor, who asked not to be identified, said he had seen six men outside in the street fighting when police arrived. He said he heard one gunshot and then an ambulance came and took one man, who he said appeared to be conscious, to the hospital.
