Pictured is 2010 Branford High School graduate and former Hornets' quarterback Kyle Nolan (right), who on Feb. 1 signed his letter of intent to compete at Georgetown University's Division I football program. This past fall, Nolan played quarterback in a post-grad year at Choate alongside a fellow Branford alum in running back/defensive back Harrison Goodkind and the duo guided the Wild Boars to an 8-2 record that included an undefeated mark in their division, followed by the team's first appearance in the New England Prep Bowl in 14 years. Nolan ultimately was a Division I All-New England selection. Goodkind will also continue his athletic career at the next level as he will play football and lacrosse at Middlebury College in Vermont.
