David and Caroline (Haddon) Nilsson of Waterford, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 2, 2012. The couple spent their anniversary in Niagara Falls, N.Y., where they honeymooned in 1962. They will also be gathering with their children and grandchildren for a dinner in their honor later in June.

Together, they have four children, David Nilsson Jr. and his wife, Lisa, Heidi McSwain and her husband, Rick, Jason Nilsson and his wife, Jennifer, and Jessica Mazowski and her husband, Tommy. They are also blessed with their 12 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
